You can apply for a Hong Kong Visa at China embassy/consulate according to consular districts, it takes 4 working days, The visa fee is AU$50. A communication fee of AU$40 is charged when your application needs to be reported by the consulate to the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong SAR government.

You need to submit the below documents to the consulate:

2. your passport and its copy
3. Australian Temporary Residence Visa and its copy
4. transporation arrangements, such as flight tickets
