About:Shanghai Shopping Malls

Curious as to bus / trains from Yancheng (Jiangsu) to Shanghai. Will finish review of sub-supplier on a Friday at 3:30 in Yancheng and plan on staying Friday night at JC Mandarin in Shanghai... do I have to go through Nanjing to get to Shanghai for Yancheng?

Also, last time in Shanghai (2002) spent an afternoon at an open air "swap meet" type shopping area with many interesting electronics / watches / etc... does it have a name? How far from JC Mandarin ?

You can take bus from Yancheng Long-distance bus station to Shanghai. The bus operates from 07:30 to 18:30. You can also take bus from Yancheng to Nanjing and then take the bullet train from Nanjing to Shanghai.
Do you mean the second hand market? The biggest second hand market may be at Qiujiang Lu. It is about 4km away from your hotel.
