about the octopus card,what value should i get for memy son (3 years old)?

about the octopus card,what value should i get  for me and my son (3 years old)? our hotel is bp international and we are only going to disneyland and the space museum for our trip there.i don't know how much i should allot for the octopus card.can i ask for a refund if i don't make use of the whole stored value? thanks!

You need to deposit at list HKD50 in it, but you can get a refund for the left value.
