About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

Dear Sir /Madam, My wife died 2 years ago now I am going to marry a Chinese Lady in China, do I need to supply a sworn statement saying I am single. If yes who do I need to have sign this statement in Australia, also does it need to be translated into Chinese. Thank you.

You need a single status certificate issued by registry of births,deaths and marriages, and the certificate needs to be translated into Chinese, and needs firstly to be authenticated by department of foreign affairs and trade, and by Chinese embassy or consulate which hold consular jurisdiction of the place where you reside.
