IS THE BROWN MACHINE READABLE PASSPORT ACCEPTED FOR VISA APPLICATION AS THE GREEN HANDWRITED ONE IS NO MORE VALID ?

yes, Mrs.Regato, the e-passport can be used to apply visa.
