About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I was born in Hong Kong, and holding a HK ID and passport. I also hold a Return Permit which does not expire yet. I used the Return Permit to enter China when I held the US Green Card. But I am now a US citizen. Can I use my unexpired Return Permit to enter China? Or I need a visa for tourist?

You need to apply for a tourist visa this time to enter China.
