The Silk Road started from Xian through the west of China and going to mid and west Asia from Xinjiang. It is a very long route.

Hello The silk road starts from xian. the capital of lot`s of the dynasties then continued tonzhou, jia yuguan, dunhuang, yumenguan, then in xinjiang some city allong the desert of taklamakan, desert to central asian countries and some to afghanstan, pakistan india, etc.
