I want to explore the Mutianyu Great Wall? Is there direct buses or trains? How long will it take?

The direct bus to Mutianyu has stopped being operated because it is the low season and ther is no direct train either. You could take bus no. 916 from dongzhimen to Huairou (an hour), and then hire a mini-bus to Mutianyu (30 minutes and 30-40 RMB).

Right now, only Badaling Great Wall can be reached directly by bus or train.
