Hello there, I'm an Australian citizen who is about to start a round the world trip. I am planning on flying from the middle east to Beijing in august this year, is it possible for me to get a visa for China in Jordan?

I want to ask when do you plan to visit China? China visa is valid for 3 months since issue. and Chinese embassy in other countries may not accept visa applications from temporary visitors. So, if time is enough, you'd better apply from Australia.

There is other option for you: to apply for a China visa in Hong Kong and it is easy for you. Anyway, you can try to submit your application to Chinese embassy in middle east countries when you are there. Applications differ case to case that you may get one there. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
