About:Guangzhou Railway Station

hello i will be coming to guangzhou from shenzhen by train. does the guangzhou railway station connect to metro station?
i will be staying at a hotel near chigang market(chigang bus terminal) so which metro train will take me there?

Subway line 2 pass through Guangzhou railway station. You can take it and get off at Changgang, then transfer to subway line 8 and get off at Chigang. Walk about several minutes to the market.
