Hi there,
I am flying from Singapore to Toronto and transiting in Pudong for 13 hours. I am going to check my bags thru to Toronto. Can I still come out of the airport and go to town with bags checked through? if so, do I go to the transit desk or do I go to immigration?

Thanks

Yeah, you can get out of the airport to Shanghai downtown area within 48 hours without a visa. Well, you still need to accept the immigration check.
