About:Hong Kong Disneyland

Dear Mr. Hank,

Good day! :) Hope you could give some tips with regards to my family trip in HongKong

Here's our itinerary:

April 11-13

Hotel: Noah's Ark Hotel

First Day: we'll go sight seeing in HongKong through Day Tour Bus (double-decker)
and we're also planning to take a ferry to Macau. :) how many hours is the time travel going there? how can we go to the terminal from our hotel?

Second Day: disneyland! :)

Third Day: we'll go for some souvenir shopping and some more sight seeing. any shop suggestions that are near to the vicinity of our hotel?

Questions: Is noah's ark hotel also near the airport? which transpo should we take?
what time does the last ferry leave to macau and also what time the last ferry leave going back to HongKong?

You can take ferry at Park Island Ferry Pier nearby Noah's Ark to Central Pier 2, 25 minutes. Is the day tour bus of Big Bus Tour? Anyway, I don't think you have enough time to Macau after sighseeing bus tour. The hotel is not close to the airport, but there is direct bus from Park Island Ferry Pier, 24HKD per person. There are ferry between HK and Macau even after mid-night. There should be souvenir shops inside Noah's arch, I guess, but I haven't been there before. You can buy in Disneyland. There is city bus from the hotel to Tsing Yi. You can then change to MTR to Disneyland.

wes, we're taking the Bis Bus Tour. it starts at 10am and it will finish at 5pm. so do you think we still have time to take a ferry going to Macau? :)

It takes only one hour from Hong Kong to Macau by ferry. If you go there after 5pm, you only have few time in Macau. I think it is not enough.

where can we start the Big Bus Day Tour?

is there any near pick up point from our hotel?

I'm afraid there is no pick up point near your hotel, you may have to take a taxi to the stop of the Big bus.

The nearest pick up point should be the finacial center. It costa about HKD20 for about 5 minutes.

Can you guys give me a feedback on this hotel, cosmicguesthouse
i know we are already planning to stay in noahs ark but a friend of mine gave me this site. and i've already ask a quotation from them. they gave me HK$3500 for the room for 2 nights, inclusive of disneyland and ocean park tickets.

but i was a little worried about the location of the place, since it quiet far from the airport and disneyland

what do you think? which hotel is more suitable for our itinenary?

The hotel is in Tsim Sha Tsui and very close to the MTR Station. Airport shuttle bus A21 is available which can take you to the airport. The hotel is a bit far from Noah's Arch and disneyland only, but convenient to Ocean Park and Macau and your bus tour. The other advantage of this guesthouse is you are in the shopping area and within walking ditance to Avenue of Star. The quotation is for two people or ? If the room price is cheaper then Noarh's, you can think about this.

the price is for 5 people already! :) how many mins will it take from the airport to this hotel if i will take the a21 bus?

have u seen this hotel before? is it nice there?

You are welcome. The price for five people sound resonable. As to the hotel, I hear many people mentioned it before, but do not expect it as a hotel, for it is just a guesthouse. Its advantage is location and budget price. The room is small but clean. So, if you do not ask for star hotels, this is fine. It takes about 50 minutes from the airport to the guesthouse by A21.

hi bruce,

actually i read a lot of reviews about this guesthouse and they're not so good. so i think we should stay in a hotel, anyway its a family vacation and i dont like to ruin it just because we settled for a cheaper option.

anyway, can you recommend any 4 star hotel with a family room thats located in a nice place.
