Is it the worst time to go to Beijing, Shanghai and Hongkong?

Planning a trip Beijing shanghai and hong kong in Late July early August... Is that the worst time to go??

It is the hotest time in China in late July early August. The average high temperature can be reach to 33C. It is the rain season in Shanghai and Typhoon season in HK. Generally, I think it is not a suitable time for travelling in China.
