About:Shanghai Travel

Hi, I am planning to visit Shanghai in June for a week. Someone recommend that I go for a day trip to Huangzhou using the fast train costing RM 100 plus (2 way) and the journey takes only an hour. Is this true? Can I buy the train ticket on the day of the trip or must I buy advance ticket? Also, maybe, from Huangzhou or Shanghai hop over to Suzhou all by train?
Thanks.

Yes, the fast train between Hangzhou aand Shanghai takes only 1 hour, and the fast train from Shanghai to Suzhou take about 30 minutes. You can get the schedule from https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/shanghai-schedule.htm
