MY CHINESE VISA IS CATEGORY L,ENTRIES CODE M
MY I ENTER HONG KONG WITHOUT NEW VISA.

Yes, you can enter Hong Kong without new visa, it is multiple entry visa, you can exit and enter Mainland China for many times during its validity. USA citizens needn't a visa to Hong Kong for up to 90 days.
