About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

ood Day

Could someone please advise me. I have a work Visa and have a job now in China.
I need to get a Visa for my family that are here as well. Before I left my country I was under the understanding that all I would need is the original marriage certificate and birth certificates of our children. The place where I am employed now tells me that I have to get a them verified at the Chinese embassy in my country is this correct.

Regards

Yes, you should take the original marriage certificate and birth certificate to the local court or law office to apply for notarization, then go to Foreign Affairs Ministry of South Africa to apply for authentication, its address:
Address Consular and Agency Services, Legalization Section, Eikendal Building, Tulbagh Park, 1234 Church Street, Pretoria

at last, go to China embassy in South Africa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/southafrica.htm) to apply for authentication.

Then the marriage license and birth certificate can be used in China, they should be translated into Chinese version and certificated with the English version.
