I know a hiking route from Dayunshan to Jinziling, the highest part of Langhan. It takes 4 hous from Dayun Village to Dayunshan and another 7-8 hours to Jinziling. June is still in the rainy season of Shaoyang, where Langshan Mountain is located. So, it may have rainstorm. Not cold. It is in summer and the altitude of the mountain is not very high.
