Is the weather cold or tolerable in Beijing during period 21-30Jan?

The weather is cold with an average temperature of about -9~1C. It is tolerable if you wear warm winter clothes like fur coat or long down jacket.

I think it also depends on individual besides warmly dressed. I am from Malaysia. During my trip,I managed to adapt to the temperature there in 2 to 3 days time.I felt a bit cold and uncomfortable to breathe when i first arrived at Tianjin/Beijing due to the air quality there. I don't feel Beijing is cold after getting back from Harbin. However, wind proofed parkas, clothings are essential if you intended to stay longer outdoor.
