About:China Embassy in Thailand

What do I need to get a 12 month multi entry visa to China from the Bangkok embassy?
I am a US citizen.

Prepare for the original passport with a validity more than six months and enough blank visa pages;
Two copies of completed visa application form in Chinese or English attached with one of your recent colorful front pictures of upper body (30mm X 40mm)each;
round-trip (vehicle, ship) ticket or travel check or bank saving statement or the documents related to multiple entries, such as invitation letter from your family in China(if any); or proof that you have visited China at least twice in previous year (visas or entry stamps); or the proof that you need to visit China frequently this year.
