It's safe to tour Macau and Shenzhen. When you are in Macau, A-Ma Temple, Ruins of St. Paul's, Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel, Macau Fisherman's Wharf, Senado Square are all worth visiting. The popular Macau dishes include Bacalhau (dried codfish, a Portuguese favorite), African Chicken, Galinha Portuguesa, Linguado Macau, Paella and Clam Stir-fried with Garlic.
For your Shenzhen tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/shenzhen.htm), I would like to recommend you Splendid China, China Folk Culture Villages, Window of the World, Shenzhen Happy Valley, etc.
