About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I need to be in China on the 21st of January. Prior to that, I will be meeting a person in HK on the 20th. From China, I need to go back to HK the following day and go back to Manila. Do I need to have a bank certificate or show money when I apply for a visa just for an overnight stay in China? I really need your answers immediately. Thank you so much!

You need to provide all the necessary requirements incl bank certificates etc.. as far as I know its close to impossible for philippine passport holders to acquire a china visa in hk.

If it is the first time for you to apply for China visa and you can't provide previously used China visa sticker on your passport, you have to provide Bank Certificate to apply for a China visa.
