About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Is the cashier's check to be made out to the Chinese Embassy or to the Consulate General of China? I would hate to stand in a long line, get to the window, and then be told a cheque made out to the Chinese Embassy was not acceptable.Maybe it's the same thing but I have found Chinese authorities a stickler for details.

Thanks for letting me know that cash was not acceptable!

Cashier's check is accepted by China embassy or Consulate-General. Now only debit card, cashier's check or company check (personal check excluded) and money order are accepted as means of payment.
