I will be in Sanhe, outside of Beijing, on a business trip of 10 days. What are the major differences between hotels in China and those in the U.S.? Is it advisable to book a hotel that serves an American-style breakfast (as I've been told)?

Sanhe City is in Hebei Province, not far from Beijing.
Read China Accommodation(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/hotel.htm) and you would know the differences between Chinese hotels and American hotels.
