About:Scenery along Silk Road

A small group are planning a trip along the Silk Road and probably will not have time to travel all around the Taklamakan Desert. We were thinking of going from Turpan, to Korla, to Kuqa to Aksa and onto Kashgar. Is the scenery more worthwhile than going from Kashgar to Hetian to Minfeng to Korla. Am interested to hear comments. Thanks

I think the Karez Well and Sugong Pagoda in Turpan, Tiemen Pass in Korla, Subashi Ruins in Kuqa , Karakuri Lake and Sunday Market are also worth visiting.
