About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

hello,

i am filipino working in shenzhen for 8 months and my visa expire on february 3 2011 and my passport expire on macrh 1 2011, I renew my passport in Philippine consulate in Hongkong the problem is the releasing date of my passport is on february 15, what should i do because my visa expire on feb.3 can i extend it for 1 month.
please advice me what is the best solution to do.

You can't extend your visa for 1 month because your present passport expires on March 1, 2011. Once your visa expires on Feb 3, 2011, please go to Hong Kong(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hongkong/) to get your new passport on Feb 15. However, I hear that Filipinos can't apply for China visa in Hong Kong, so I'm afraid that you have to return to Philippines to apply for a work visa to return to Shenzhen.
