About:Shanghai Facts

MY WIFE AND I HAVE A MORNING ONLY TO SEE AS MUCH OF SHANGHAI AS POSSIBLE,BEFORE TRAVELLING ON. WE WOULD LIKE TO REVISIT THE BUND AREA, IN PARTICULAR,, TO SEE THE CHANGES FROM WHEN WE WERE THERE 25 YEARS AGO. WE ARE STAYING AT THE LONGEMONT HOTEL AND WONDERED IF THE METRO WOULD BE THE MOST PRACTICAL WAY OF GETTING THERE, OR DO YOU HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTIONS.
THANK YOU, IN ANTICIPATION

The metro can not directly take you from the airport to the the Bund in Shanghai(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/shanghai/bund.htm). If you take bus, you also need to walk for a while. Since it is about 8km away from the hotel to the Bund, I advise you to catch a taxi there which is very convenient.
