About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

i am in saigon. i will fly from SGN to hong kong airport en route back to the US. if i want to leave the airport for the 10 hour layover in hong kong do i need a visa to leave the airport?

Which country's passport do you hold? If you hold USA passport, you can go outside the airport without a visa for 48 hours.
