About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I am a Malaysian working in Singapore and I am holding a Singapore PR. I will be visiting a Malaysian friend in Shanghai and staying at her place for 7 days. May I know what are Visa requirements I would require. Do I need to provide my monthly pay / bank statement and company letter?

1. Original passport valid for at least 6 months with at least two blank visa pages.
2. One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo stuck on it.
3. Round-trip airline tickets and hotel reservation, if you mention to visit your friend in Shanghai to the application form, you also need an invitation letter from him/her.
4. You shall also provide documents that entitle you to reside in Singapore for an extended period of time in the SPR,WP,EP,STP,DP.
Bank statement and company letter are not required unless the embassy asks if they deem necessary.
here, I recommend you with Tours to China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/tour/default.htm) if you need information for China travel.
