If you want to go to Vietnam by road, you can take bus or train from Guangzhou to Nanning(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangxi/nanning/) first, then go to Nanning Langdong bus station or Jiangnan bus station to take bus to Hanoi, Vietnam.0
