About:China Southern Airlines

My husband who is an OFW, wants to upgrade his ticket (Destination Dubai). Your Staff told us to pay the amount of 12,550php - for ticket upgrade and OEC charges. We were wondering why an OFW needs to pay an extra amount for the OEC. Other Major Airlines do not even ask or require an OEC just for ticket upgrade/rebooking. For what purpose will the OEC serve in your airline?

Please be reminded that the OEC must be presented in the airport so an OFW will not have to pay the travel tax. It is imperative therefore, that the OEC must be in the hands of the traveler.

We would also like to bring to your attention, that to clear any issues up with your customers, have your staff treat them cordially and with utmost respect. It is way too disappointing when your staff refuses to explain to us and just tell us to provide the original copy of the OEC or else pay an additional amount.

Hope this practice ends to ensure continued patronage of your airline.

Oh, don't let it get you down. As I know this is not the airlines official website. To solve this issue, I suppose you should call the airlines' service center.
