About:Beijing Travel

Do my passport or copy of the passport is required to apply for a Visa to Beijing?

Hi
I am an Iranian citizen, but resident in Canad as a student. to get a visa to china, do I need to send my passport or just a COPY of the passport is enough?

You need to submit your original passport and copy of information page to the Chinese embassy in Canada(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/canada.htm) where you reside, together with other required documents, such as return ticket and hotel reservation, application form for P.R.China, passport-sized photo and your resident permit in Canada.
