I think the one is that you may touch some taboos of the ethnic minorities, and you may be not welcomed. The other should be safety, be sure to keep your money and important travel certificates close to you.6

There were dangers along this route/path there were robbers which would steal the silk, gold,cattle and sheep. To protect these goods the emperor put houses surronding the path/route3
