I am thinking about taking a trip to Harbin during the last week of January or after mid-February. I want to see the ice sculptures (are the ice lanterns happening later in February or can I see both of them at the same time) but don't want to be there with too many people, especially during Chinese New Year. If I come in mid or late February, will I still be able to see the ice sculptures? Or should I come during the last week of January? Please advise. Thanks.

Yes, i think you are still able to see the ice sculptures and ice lanterns at that time because the Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin
will end on Feb 28, 2011.
