We're thinking of visiting Shanghai, Suzhou & Huang Shan area between 15th April and 1st May 2011.
However I understand there is a national holiday (May Day) around then, and have a few questions:

1 When would most people in China go on holiday?
2 Would we have problems getting coach/ train/ hotel rooms?
3 Is it better to fly on 29th April, 30th April or 1st May to return to the UK?
