hi i was born in INDIA on August 4th 1979 , what is my current age based on chinese calender

but the reaility is i m only 31 yrs of age based on english calender.

usually as per chinese calender you are one year older than your english age, please respond.

Yes, you are 31 Mrs, Ks. If your birthfay is in Jan or Feb, it is possible that your Chinese birthday will be different. So, you birthday is June 12, 1979, in Chinese Calendar. We do have the tradition to say one's age one year elder, we called nominal age. That is to day, a new baby is on year old when he is just born. When a Chinese New Year past, he is one year elder. So, if someone born in December, he will be two year old when the Chinese New Year comes a couple of months later.
