I think this hotel is fine. It is located in downtown Taipa, close to Macau Airport, the famous Venetian Macau Resort Hotel(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/macau/venetian-macau-resort-hotel.htm) and the nearby Rua do Cunha (a popular tourist street).
Although it has a little distance to the Macau Ferry Terminal, the hotel does supply frequent free buses to the terminal everyday. Once arrive at the terminal, you could walk to visit the Fisherman's Wharf. Or, transfer to the free bus to Hotel Lisboa, from where you are able to walk to the Ruins of St. Paul and Senado Square. By a taxi or bus, the trip could be extended to the Macau Tower and A-Ma Temple. Anyway, please take easy that Macau is not large and the free buses of these hotels will help a lot.
For going to Shenzhen, you should apply for a valid China Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm) in advance. As I said above, you could reach the Ferry Terminal by free bus easily. Wish you a nice time!
