About:Shenzhen Facts

I've read that Shenzhen is not as safe as other cities in China. Is that true? If so, what are the things I should be aware of and places that it's best not to visit?

It is generally safe in Shenzhen. Anyhow, you'd better not go outside alone to some remote places, especially at night.

all the cities are almost the same, you just only have to watch out your wallet, don't bring too much cash with you on hand, because there are thief when it is crowded. just be careful of the thief, for others, not a big problem.
