i have booked a flights to europe with air chinaon the way home i have booked return

I have Booked a flights to Europe with Air China and on the way home I have booked return side trip to Japan with Eastern China Airlines. I have around a 2hr 40min stop over between flights. As these airlines opperate out of different terminals do I have to clear and re-clear customs to travel between terminals. I am travelling with Snow skis is there a special area I need to go to collect oversize luggage.

There will be guide for you to the transit area to finish these procedure, including the collection of oversie luggage. 2 hours and 40 minutes are generally Ok for you to make the transfer, but you'd better catch up your time.
