About:Tianjin Travel

hi, today me and my group took the train from tianjin to beijing just for the fun of it.
since we are new there, our tour guide which is a local said the ticket is 100yuan.
when we got the ticket i see its written 58 yuan.
but when asked the tour guide were saying it has extra charges.
i got back now and check this website and i can only see 58 yuan without any extra charges..
so..did we get cheated by the tour guide?
the train ticket tianjin-beijing should only be 58 yuan right?

I'm sure that the train ticket fare from Tianjin to Beijing is CNY58. Did you ask the tour guide to purchase the tickets for you? If so, the CNY100 should include some service charge, or a transfer fee between your hotel and the railway station.

thanks for the reply.
we went together with the tour guide.
then the tour guide offered to offered to buy the tickets for us and asked us to wait outside station.
since we all know how expensive the shinkansen is, so we thought 100 yuen is really cheap for CRH that is much more faster than shinkansen..LOL..guess it was our mistake we didnt go through the internet before going.

No one cheated you. First class tickets are about 100 RMB and coach class are 58 RMB.
Most Chinese touring guides will get you first class tickets for your comfort, and they are a lot more honest and friendly than in most other countries that I have been to.
