For Austrlian applicants, the fee for work visa is AUD 40, however, you also need to pay for service fee for Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) if you live in the consular districts of China consulate in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, because the three consulates only accept Chinese visa application from diplomatic/service/official passport holders, you need to submit visa application to CVASC in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, please refer to China Embassy in Australia(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/australia.htm) for detailed information.
