About:Shanghai Weather

I am planning to shanghai IN Second week of Jan11, I would like to know. Is this very cold and what precaution we need to take in consideration of Weather.
Please advise.

Yes, the days in Shanghai will be cold and humid, but not as chilly as in other cities in north China. The temperature will be around 5~10C so warm winter clothes and boots should be taken.

Shanghai is one of the safest cities I have lived in. Nothing to be paranoid about just the usual vigilance in tourist areas.
