which part of the great wall is best to go?

Hi. I'm 26 yrs old I will be going to Beijing with my partner on 12 Dec. I would like to ask which part of the great wall is best to go to, considering the weather and our age bracket. both of us are fit to walk, and would like to see the best part of the this great Chinese attraction. Also, can you suggest which are the best shopping spots that we can go to. Thanks!

I think all of the sections of the Great Wall are worth visiting, especially Badaling Great Wall(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/scene/beijing/badaling.htm) , Mutianyu Great Wall(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/scene/beijing/mutianyu.htm) and Jiankou Great Wall(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/scene/beijing/jiankou.htm) . Among these, Badaling section is comparatively easy to climb and has more visitors than others.
You can find detailed information of these sections through China Great Wall(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/) on this website, including the routes, transportation, scenery and climb tips.

Hello, I just returned from Beijing on Dec 1st. I had a great time and my favorite tour was the great wall. I went to Badaling. I chose that part of the great wall because you are able to take a cable car up and back down. The site was amazing. Jiankou great wall, from what I heard from others was very steep and somewhat dangerous. Badaling and Mutianyu are very similiar. Enjoy!!
