How to get to Tianjin airport from China World Hotel, Beijing?

I too am picking up a friend from the Tianjin Airport. I am staying at the China World Hotel now. I know through research that I need to take d subway from Jianguomen to Xidan, exit and take another train to Beijing South Railway Station. From there, I need to take the bullet train to the Tianjin Railway Station, North Square. From there take a shuttle bus or taxi to the airport. It all seems fine, considering how big the city is. But when checking out all these places [online], I noticed that all signage are in Chinese. Problem is; I don't read or speak Chinese!! Can you assist me in detail on how do I get to the Tianjin airport or is what I wrote all correct. Any suggestions?

You could take easy that all of the directions in Beijing subway and train stations do have clear English version.
1. From the China World Hotel, you could walk to take Beijing subway Line 1 at Guomao station and then transfer to Line 4 at Xidan station. The transfer could be finished in the subway station and there are many directions guiding your way. By Line 4, you could reach Beijing South Railway Station directly. The whole journey will take you no more than one hour.
2. From the subway station of Line 4, you could enter into the railway station's departure hall directly. The train ticket could be purchased at these self-service machine quickly by RMB cash. The machine could be found anywhere in the departure hall and do have English version. The train No. will be shown on the ticket, by which you could find the boarding gate easily.
3. After 30-minutes's travel, you could arrive at Tianjin Railway Station. My suggestion is that you take a taxi to the airport directly. It will take you another 30minutes and about 40RMB. The railway station also has clear English directions leading you to the taxi station.

Your route is Ok. I think you can write down the Chinese name of these places to show the bus or train staff to help you.
Well, I suggest you take a taxi from your hotel to Bawangfen(八王坟）Beijing. There is direct bus to Tianjin Airport. It departs at 7:30, 9:30, 10:30, 12:30 and 16:30.

Thank you so much for your clear directions. I'll try your route an I'll update you after my journey. My only worry was the language on signage. If there are ample ones in english, I believe I'd survive. Thank you so much again.
