Hi This is a great website for travelers who need some info on parts of China. A group of us retirees are going to Chengdu & Xian in last week of December. We are from Malaysia. Will it be too cold? How much is the train fare from Chengdu To Xian? How can we make advance ticket booking. Thank you.

Yes, the weather will be cold then. If possible, I think you should take a down jacket, warm sweater, jeans and shoes. Except of the attractions outdoors, most of the restaurants, hotels and shopping plaza have good heating system, so please take it easy!You may pay attention to Xian Weather Forecast(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/climate/xian.htm) befoer leaving~The train info could be searched at China Train Schedule(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/) , you may also book the ticket on the page.
