About:Beijing Capital Airport T2

How to get to Beijing downtown area from capital airport?

i am staying for one night in beijing in first week of jan 2011 ,i have about 24 hour stay ,i want to see few things and want to stay in down town safe area ,where i can find nice bars or disco etc .please guide me where to stay ,and how to get the down town area and back to the airport easily in case if there is snow .thanks

Very short time to see this city. Well, you could book a Beijing hotel around Tiananmen Square or Xidan area, such as the Jade Garden Hotel, Beijing, Hotel Kapok, Beijing and Beijing Wangfujing Grand Hotel. These hotels do have good location for starting an One-day Beijing Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/beijing-one-day-tours.htm), covering the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Beihai Park and the bars in Houhai area.

From Beijing airport, you could take shuttle bus Line 2 to its terminal at Xidan and then hire a taxi driving to the hotel quickly in 10 minutes.
