About:Getting to Macau

Hi,
We are going to stay in Hong Kong for 6 days from the 11th-17th dec. However, since we have not been to Macao, our friends has invited us to stay over at the Venetian on our last night and suggests us to take the TurboJet straight from Macao to Hong Kong Intl Airport the next morning. Our flight is at 10.45am on the 17th. Do you think it is too much of a rush if we leave in the morning from Macao? Or do you think we should just go back to Hong Kong at night and go to the airport just to be safe?
How long is it from Venetian to the ferry place and what time is the earliest ferry to go to Hong Kong Intl Airport?
Thank you!

I think it is OK for you to leave in the early morning from Macau to Hong Kong Airport. The first ferry from Macau Marine Ferry Terminal to Hong Kong Airport departs at 07:00 in the morning. It takes about 50-60 minutes. The 7:30 ferry is okay too. The next ferry is 8:30 and I think it is safe to take early ones. Better to get to the Macau Ferry Terminal some 30 minutes earlier.
