About:Shanghai Wild Animal Park

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am an American living in Shanghai. Several months ago I rescued a baby squirrel from certain death. He has been living in my apartment since that time. He is now grown and I need someplace nice for him to live out his life.

Can you help me place this animal in a good environment or tell me how and where to release him where he can be safe and with other squirrels?

I thank you for your response.

Matt McHale

Dear Mr. McHale,

Just keep the squirrel as a pet and feed it lots of nuts. Squirrels make very good companions. They can even be trained to use a litter box. They like to chew things so make sure you get chew toys for your new companion, just make sure it's squirrel appropriate! Much love to you and yours...
