About:China Embassy in Thailand

I am a retired UK citizen currently resident in Thailand using a multi-entry 'o' visa. I have a Chinese friend and would like to apply for a 6 month tourist multi entry visa to China. Can I apply to the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok for that?

You can try to apply for 6 months multiple entry Chinese Tourist Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/tourist.htm) but maybe the embassy only issues you a 3 months single entry visa. If you have enter China twice in the past year or this year, you have great chance to get multiple entry visa.
