About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

I am visiting Hong Kong with my friend next March 2011 (I am an Australian citizen). I was hoping to go for about a half day into China over the border from Hong Kong. Do I still need a Visa or is it possible to get a one day stamp at the border without cost?

Yes, you still need a visa, it is possible for you to get a one day visa on arrival at the border of Shenzhen or Zhuhai, however, you need to pay 160 RMB
