Can I stay at lounge for overnight stop at Beijing Capital Airport?

Hi there,

My husband and I have ended up with a 14hr overnight stop in Beijing airport before our flight to London. I'm not very savvy when it comes to airports and visa's etc. I would prefer to not have to get a Visa to stay at a hotel outside the airport. Please can anyone clarify what our other options are? We are on a tight budget! I have read briefly about different lounges and rooms that you can stay in actually in the terminal? Is this right? Please can someone shine some light on the situation.

There are cheaper choice in fact. Mr Osman, my question is, as I know, people are not allow to get out of the airport within that 24 hours without a trasit visa?!

Hi,Ms Michelle,
it is expansive around the airport, so, i think you take a bus to garden hotel from airport, it may charge you 16 RMB for each of you. then you will see many hotels, you can choose cheap and expansive,,,,,,,for the hotel they will not ask your visa, they reqwire pasport,
and it is not reqwired to eply visa, who will stay less then 24 hour,as you are holding ticket ,
